Thesis Project in the GAMS group

If you are an enthusiastic undergraduate student interested in a challenging thesis project (bachelor, master), please feel free to contact us to arrange a visit to the laboratory to see what we are doing and discuss the availability of projects.

Please note that thesis projects in our group do not mean isolated work on a specific task, but rather teamwork with focus on your topic.

You would have to be familiarized with fields like:

accelerator physics (ion sources, ion optics)
nuclear physics (detectors)
electronics and data acquisition
chemistry (sample preparation)
...

to work on an AMS project in fields like

nuclear physics (cross sections, ...)
astrophysics
geophysics
extraterrestrial physics
...
